our mission

SCORE Boston Hockey empowers youth ages 5–14 to discover their potential—on and off the ice. Through the game of hockey, we provide access, mentorship, and inspiration, helping young people across Boston and surrounding communities see a future beyond their current circumstances.

We believe sport is a powerful vehicle for change. Our program uses hockey as a platform to reinforce the importance of education while instilling lifelong values—perseverance, teamwork, resilience, and respect. In every practice, every game, and every interaction, we strive to create an environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired.

SCORE stands for more than a name—it reflects our core values:
Sportsmanship.

Character.

Opportunity.

Respect.

Education.
